We are committed to creating an engaging environment and a positive experience for our employees and we have an inclusive and collaborative work environment. We were recently recognised by The Times as a Top 50 Employer for Women 2019, in 2017 we won the Diversity in the Public Sector Award 2017 (Herald and GenAnalytics) and the HR Network Award for Talent Management 2017. As part of our commitment to developing talent, we recruit to our Internship Programme on an annual basis.

The Internship Programme offers an excellent opportunity for penultimate year students to gain valuable career experience of working in one of the largest water companies in the UK. During the 12 week paid placement, you will support key business areas on projects and innovative work methods to deliver excellent results to our customers. A number of our interns return to join our graduate programmes.

The 12 week paid placement runs over the summer months, commencing in June 2020.

If you are a penultimate year student (for example in your third year of a four year course, or in your fourth year but going on to study a Masters Degree) in a STEM subject area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and on track to achieve a 2:2 degree classification, then we would love to hear from you.
