Job Title - Class 2 Driver Operative
Salary - £13.47 per hour **** plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location - Shakespeare Road, London, SE24 0PZ
Hours - Full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 23:00 and Friday 14:00 - 22:00 with overtime available
What you’ll do
To be responsible for the collection of refuse and recycling waste from domestic properties.
To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook
To ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and that they are handed in daily/weekly along with the daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and Weighbridge tickets
To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads
To ensure that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area.
To conform to all applicable site rules when offloading at disposal sites.
To carry out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line manager.

Where you’ll work
You’ll be working within the borough of Lambeth. You’ll become a member of a crew of two, together you’ll be clearing fly-tip and service domestic and commercial refuse collection within the borough of Lambeth.
