Estates Coordinator
Glasgow, Scotland   
Salary:  £27.1k - £33.4k (Dependent on skills & qualifications)

Reporting to the Land Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality outputs whilst supporting the wider Property team.  They will also need to demonstrate a focus on task delivery and quality, sound technical judgement, strong organisational and work planning skills.

The post will be primarily based in Scotland, however travel throughout SGN networks (Scotland, Southern and Northern Ireland) may be required from time to time; therefore, a flexible approach to working hours and a full and valid driving license are essential.

What does an Estates Coordinator do?

This role will focus on the day to day delivery of estates management services in respect of SGN’s non-operational sites.

 Key responsibilities include:
•Taking a lead role in planned and reactive maintenance of non-operational / redundant land sites with a strong focus on efficient resource utilisation, innovation and robust contract and finance management
•Contributing to the development and implementation of new systems for the management of our non-operational / redundant land
•Designing and implementing cost effective projects for the management of non-operational / redundant land to maximise the income from the SGN estate
•Acting as the first point of contact for all non-operational / redundant land related issues
•Managing contractors and overseeing their works to clear and secure sites
•Collating information in respect of our sites from across the business and putting together works information and pre-construction information documents
•Supporting with land remediation, gas holder dismantling and property divestment projects

Do you have what we are looking for?
•A good level of computer literacy and associated skills
•Focus on safety and environmental performance and a commitment to flexible cross team working
•Experience of liaising with managers, solicitors, tenants and third parties on property matters would be advantageous, as would dealing with leases and rents
•An understanding of Safe Control of Operation and gas/utility infrastructure would also be advantageous
•An effective communicator at all levels, analytical, self-motivated and organised with the ability to prioritise their workload
•Should have attained or are willing to work towards a professional qualification in Estates Management / Property Services
