Salary: £35,000 plus Veolia benefits *listed below

Grade - 4.3

Location - Sheffield Northern General, S5 7AU and surrounding area.

Hours - 43 Hours a week

This includes being on call one week in four, will cover other sites covering Sheffield/Rotherham area

What you’ll do

In a fast paced environment you will be working for our Energy onsite team, you will be responsible for the Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive maintenance/repairs. 

You will also be responsible for managing Subcontractors on site and ensuring all procedures are followed. As part of a 4 man team you will also cover call out for two additional sites.

The experience you will need

Essential:

  • Must be an apprentice trained Electrical Engineer (with strong mechanical knowledge), qualified to at least C&G Level 3 or equivalent

  • Must have experience in a Facilities Management role

  • Knowledge of current H&S issues and safe working systems such as PTW. 

  • You will have sound understanding of IT systems and able to work of a tablet based asset management system.

  •  Must have proven organisation, planning and time management skills and able to cope with numerous issues simultaneously and capable of prioritising tasks.

Where you’ll work 

As a Technician you will be working on a contract in a wing within a Sheffield Hospital. Veolia are responsible for the full hard service facilities maintenance.
