Internship with our Commercial Waste Team

Location – Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire

Duration - 2 months, full time, starting 1st June 2020

More about the team:

The team at our Gerrards Cross Waste Depot provides a waste collection service and arranges safe disposal of commercial and industrial waste. The team is responsible for ensuring that the day to day operation runs smoothly, driving customer satisfaction, as well as identifying key areas for improvement within the business.

Your role:

This internship offers an opportunity and platform for you to get an excellent understanding of operations within the waste industry. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the line manager and the depot team in day to day tasks at the depot

  • Creating daily reports, such as invoice queries and/or other service related reports

  • Reviewing current operations and proactively seeking to suggest and introduce improvements

  • Supporting on progressing important projects in areas such as asset management
