Internship with our Commercial Waste Service Team

Location – Norwich

Duration - 2 months, full time, starting 29th June 2020

More about the team:

The Service Team at our Norwich Commercial Depot provide a high level of customer service; delivering a scheduled waste collection service to all customers. The team work to KPIs and target goals to ensure we meet the expectations of our customers and deliver a great customer experience.

 

Your role:

This internship offers an opportunity and platform for you to get an excellent understanding of operations within the waste industry. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Getting involved with service planning and scheduling of customer requests for container emptying on site

  • Liaising directly with customers by phone around ad hoc requests or service requirements

  • Completing end of shift debriefs with our drivers

  • Reviewing current operations and proactively seeking to suggest and introduce improvements
