We work in all hours, and through all weathers, ensuring our customers are never without power.

What is the Role?

You'll ideally have previous experience with tarmac reinstatement and block/slab work and be familiar with highway specification and legislation. You will work as part of a small team reinstating trenches and joint bays for new connection and supply restoration projects. You may also be expected to work as part of a larger team installing cable and reinstating on some of our bigger projects when required. Your tasks will be undertaken on public highways, building sites and private residential land, and must be carried out in a safe and responsible manner.

To be successful in this role you'll need previous experience working on Civils related projects and should hold an NRSWA, plant operator and CSCS authorisations. A full and clean driving licence is required for this role and you should be able to tow a trailer. We are always interested in new ways of working and will look to you for innovative ideas to improve processes and move the business forwards.

You'll be a great team worker and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Having excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately and independently is essential. A high regard for safety, for both yourself, your colleagues and the environment are imperative.

This is a physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions. You may also be required to undertake standby duties in response to faults overnight and at weekends, as part of a rota.
