Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to  project manage Capital investment projects within the licence areas, safely and to a high quality standard, while delivering outputs to programme and maximising capital efficiency against allowance, with strict adherence to the appropriate regulatory and License obligations.

Responsibilities
In other to manage the different projects efficiently, the jobholder will drive continual improvement behaviour by identifying lessons learned and sharing these with the wider business; will carry project and contract reviews, to inform improvements for the remainder of RIIO T1 and T2, plus ED1 / ED2.

You will make proposals and introduce changes for best project management practice and behaviour across the wider project portfolio including programming, financial control, change management, reporting and project closure.

Compliance with SPEN Integrated management system, required for the professional and efficient delivery of the investment programme.

Skills and Requirements
We are looking for individuals with the ability to devise solutions to complex problems and challenges and great team management skills.

Ideally someone with knowledge and experience in the following areas: Electrical infrastructures project management, project risk and control, procurement processes, contract management, financial control forecasting, health, safety and environmental legislation.

To be successful in this position you will need to bring with you:

Significant experience in project managing transmission projects
Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience.
Full driving licence

What we offer
This is a Permanent full-time contract. Salary for this role will be from £49,200 per annum.
