We have an exciting opportunity for a Tankers Driver to join our Waste Services Team based in the Grampian area.

About the Role
Scottish Water provides an essential waste transportation service from both Water and Wastewater treatment sites whilst also carrying out a private septic tank service to domestic and commercial customers where our drivers act as ambassadors for us with these customers. The team operates across all areas of Scotland and utilise both rigid and articulated tankers.
You will ensure all work undertaken complies with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations, completing vehicle checks and inspections, liaising with fleet on aspect of vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing and MOT’s. You will also ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Scottish Water policies and procedures relating to sludge transportation whilst making sure you comply with domestic driving laws by the use of a digital tachograph.
In this role you will work 37 hours driving (Mon-Fri) an articulated or rigid tanker as required. This role is being advertised on a permanent basis and we will consider a range of working hours. Full training and personal protection equipment will be provided to enable you to carry out the role safely.
